Our Parish

The Parish consists of four churches (see below for details), all governed by a single Parochial Church Council which is responsible for promoting the whole mission of the Church and matters such as finance, church buildings and the life and worship of the parish.

Kirk Christ, Rushen

Kirk Christ is situated on the outskirts of Port Erin and Port St. Mary. It is an impressive Parish Church with a long history of being a place of prayer and worship.

It has its own churchyard which is well maintained and meaningful to the many people who visit.

St. Catherine’s Church, Port Erin

St. Catherine’s Church is located on Church Road in Port Erin and has been a focus of worship for residents and holiday makers, alike, since 1880.  We meet for morning worship and this is usually a mix of traditional and contemporary worship styles. An All-Age service is held on the 3rd Sunday of the month.

Morning Worship: 11am each Sunday

St. Mary’s Church, Port St. Mary

St. Mary’s Church, which dates from 1884, is to be found on the main road through Port St. Mary village. The church is pleased to have its own choir that enhances the singing during services. The family friendly church has a Sunday School that meets in the Hall next door. An All-Age service is held on the 2nd Sunday of the month.
